Click Count Explained

Why a Goal-Based Compensation Model?

Rather than charging a flat fee per post, Linqia offers goal-based pricing that aligns with the brand’s objectives, whether that be Reach (CPM), Engagement (CPE), or Traffic and Conversions (CPC).

You, like us, are are measured and compensated based on how the content performs towards that goal, which we've seen incentivize influencers to work harder during your programs, posting more and better content. Essentially, we create a performance contract between brands and influencers, which allows brands to understand exactly what they are getting for their investment.

Below, you’ll find more information on how we measure our influencers’ performance when the chosen pricing model is CPC.

  • Bot Lists: We use 3rd party blacklists to identify and remove fraudulent click activity from our reporting.
  • Bot Traffic: We examine IP ranges and click frequency to identify bot traffic and remove fraudulent click activity from our reporting.
  • Flood Control & Click Caps: We use flood control and click capps to ensure that the same people aren’t clicking on links multiple times. Flood control refers to the frequency of clicks per person within a specified time range, like an hour, a day, or a week. Click caps refer to the maximum number of clicks per person for the duration of the program. If we see patterns of multiple clicks within a short period of time from the same person or if an IP address exceeds their click cap, we filter those clicks out of our reporting.

Linqia’s click tracking is so conservative that is usually comes in at 50% of the industry standard Doubleclick for Advertisers (DFA). When looking to track your true influence, you can trust Linqia's reporting to offer a reliable measurement of how many followers are taking action.
